National Institute of Technology Agartala, or NIT Agartala, is one of the popular higher education institutes in the field of science and technology. It was founded in 1965 and was earlier known as Tripura Engineering College and was declared an NIT in the year 2006. NIT Agartala is being recognised as an institute of national importance by an act of the parliament. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The physical verification of documents in NIT Agartala would be held from 14 - 18 August, 2023. Candidates are required to visit the college campus between 9 AM to 4 PM. The documents that should be carried along include JEE (Mains) 2023 score card, age proof (birth certificate/Class 10 admit card), Class 10 & 12 marksheets, provisional admission letter & final seat acceptance letter, photo id proof, caste certificate (if applicable), migration & character certificate, and physical disability certificate.
